**Delhi Wala Food: A Hidden Gem in Leeds** Tucked away on Bishopgate Street, Delhi Wala Food offers a delightful experience for Indian cuisine enthusiasts. This intimate restaurant is celebrated for its authentic North Indian dishes, making it a must-visit for locals and visitors alike. The standout offerings include the flavorful Chicken Tikka Burger and the crispy Aloo Tikki Burger, both encased in soft brioche buns that elevate the traditional flavors. Vegetarians will find a haven here, with dishes like the luscious Paneer Butter Masala paired perfectly with garlic naan, capturing the essence of home-cooked Indian meals. As customer Vishwajeet Singh noted, the flavors are rich and avoid the overly creamy pitfalls common in many Indian eateries. The Indo-Chinese combo, featuring options like Chilli Chicken and Honey Chilli Potatoes, also garners praise for its delightful fusion of tastes. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, supported by attentive staff dedicated to ensuring a pleasurable dining experience. Whether it’s a casual lunch or an evening gathering, diners rave about the authentic flavors, friendly service, and reasonable pricing. Many patrons, like Tom K, recommend booking ahead, especially during peak times, to secure a spot at this Leeds treasure. With its mouthwatering menu and inviting vibe, Delhi Wala Food undoubtedly deserves its acclaim as one of the best Indian restaurants in the area.

As a vegetarian, finding proper desi food that actually hits the spot can be tricky but Delhi Walla in Leeds nailed it. Tried their paneer butter masala with garlic naan and honestly, it felt like home. Flavours were rich, nothing bland or overly creamy like some places do. The vibe is chill, staff’s polite, and prices are pretty reasonable for the quality. If you’re in Leeds and craving proper North Indian veg food, this place is 100% worth it. Definitely going back to try their chole bhature next! Additional thanks to “Vijay and Sudhir”...

Favourite restaurant in Leeds! We’ve ordered takeaway from Delhi Wala a couple of times, but tonight was the first time we’ve sat and eaten in the restaurant. The food was incredible and the staff were brilliant. We shall certainly be back!

Such a lovely little indian gem in Leeds. I am so happy we found this restaurant and I can't wait to come back. They have a great choice of indian food in main menu, but very good lunch menu too, with everything under 10. It was hard to decide what to order, honestly I would like to try everything. Food we ordered was so authentic and full of flavours, pure heaven in your mouth. All together with mango lassi it was a blast. The place is small with nice atmosphere and attentive staff, they asked how spicy we want a food and came twice to make sure everything is ok. Delhi Wala Food is definitely one of my favourite restaurant in Leeds.

A fantastic little restaurant in the heart of Leeds. I'm often in Leeds for work and always do my best to eat here at least once. The food is fresh and authentic, some of the best I've had outside of India. The staff are friendly and attentive. It's not a massive restaurant so I'd recommend booking in during peak times. The Keema Matar is delightful, for those with a sweet tooth the Rasmalai is fantastic (see attached photo)

Have I found my favourite Indian restaurant in Leeds? Probably, and my previous one is Dastaan, which is another great restaurant. To summarize: great food, great service. Look no further in the city centre.

"Absolutely amazing experience! The flavors at Delhi wala food are truly authentic, with rich, aromatic spices that make every dish unforgettable. Everything was cooked to perfection. On top of that, the service was exceptional—our server Mr. Sudhir Rana was so warm, attentive, and lovely, making us feel truly welcome. If you're looking for a genuine taste of India with top-notch hospitality, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!" I have been here twice in a row as I was visiting the city and have loved it.
